Before moving to Philadelphia, Jayden graduated from Fordham University in New York City with a degree in Political Science and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Jayden's expertise stems from several realms of public service; working in local government in both Tennessee and New York, community organizing for several non-profits in New York City through energizing and training student leaders, and participating in activism through serving as a volunteer themself.
Jayden is dedicated to mobilizing 'direct action' service work as a facet of transformative social change. They aim to uplift volunteers via group empowerment, allowing for the supercharging of interpersonal connections as a motivator for larger social and political change.
When not working, Jayden enjoys reading fantasy and romance novels (especially with vampires), spending time outdoors, and creating art! Jayden can most often be found spending time with their partner, friends, and family or eating a scrumptious vegetarian meal.

Administrative & Resource Support
Gen first became a part of the Feast of Justice community as a guest in 2017. Two years later, Gen started volunteering her time and skills, and eventually became Feast of Justice’s Administrative and Resource Support in 2022.
Gen moved from Port Richmond to Upper Holmesburg in 2007. Gen worked in administrative child care for an afterschool program in 2010, through which she became involved in nutrition development services for summer and school year lunch programs. This work inspired her passion for children’s health and addressing hunger.
From her own experiences at Feast of Justice, Gen is committed to serving guests with compassion, understanding, inclusivity, and grace. Gen is also an avid supporter of the Cancel Lunch Debt Coalition, and works with the FindHelp resource platform to assist guests in searching for resources beyond food.
When not working, Gen loves to watch professional wrestling, belly dance, paint in watercolors, and research vintage television. You may find her at local thrift stores scouring for VHS tapes and vinyl records. Gen enjoys spending time with her son, boyfriend, and pets: 3 cats, a dog, and a turtle.
